I've gone a little vintage with this card using an image from Ooh La La cd Passion For Fashion. I've used some lace I bought a little while ago, it's gorgeous but so expensive I think I'll have to learn to crochet it myself, mind you the thread on its own is pricey. Oh well it's not a cheap hobby is it.
Hope everyone can join in the fun, it is the perfect challenge just in time for valentines day so there are no excuses!!

Ooh La La Challenge 121 Happy Birthday
Happy New Year! I have been lucky enough to make some cards using the new CD from Ooh La La Yesterday's Memories, and for the first challenge of 2013 "happy Birthday" I have made this card using a gorgeous vintage image. I have used clear embossing powder on the goldfish bowl which looks pretty cool.

Ooh La La Challenge - Reflections
I've used the gorgeous artwork from the Ooh La La carnival of colour CD rom for this clean and simple style card. The challenge is all about reflection, whether it's literal reflection or thoughtfulness I think this card fits both themes :)

Ooh La La -#119 spots and dots
I am loving this CD from Ooh La La, it's put me in the mood for Christmas (I might put the decs up next weekend lol) The theme over at ooh la la this week is spots and dots and both these gorgeous backing papers were from the yuletide wishes CD as well as the ribbon and bow.

Sepia and promarkers
I have a couple of Lili of the valley Christmas stamps that are vintage-y looking and I decided to have a go at sepia colouring again on this image. I am actually really pleased with the way it turned out and it makes a change lol. I've paired it with free holly hobbie papers to give it a splash of red. It looks traditional but original, for me anyway ;)
I was thinking of trying greyscale next but not sure that would work for xmas cards, but sepia is definitely a win in my book
